Syrren
Syrren is very intelligent and very cocky. She's not feminine or vain, but always insists on wearing her Ribbon. This is because she finds it incredibly useful in a number of situations, mainly as an aid to climbing (or aiding Nye in some cases) or as part of elaborate traps or alarm systems. She will always go back for the ribbon, though; this can often nullify her elaborate plans by causing her to have to attack or have Nye aid her to escape. She's stronger and fitter than Nye, but as she has a calmer disposition, she'll usually attack second to Nye. Since Zooka became her permanent hat as a Cottonee, she found it more and more troublesome to keep her cool; Nye and Zooka are always at each other. She's not very affectionate toward Zooka, but still does little things for him, such as stealing a Sun Stone for him so he could become more independant. She's also not above carrying both Nye and Zooka should they be injured or ill. Perhaps she cares more than she usually shows about her teammates...?

Nye
Rather vain and quick-tempered, Nye is a good foil for Syrren. Where Syrren might hesitate and overthink a situation, Nye will jump straight to action. This proves useful when Syrren's plans don't quite go as predicted, as Nye will usually blast in and distract any enemies. Nye is usually happy to let Syrren lead, as he isn't as clever or motivated, and happy to sit around munching some food or other he's found. His proven ability as a tunnel-digger is very useful. After any mission, Nye will preen until his fringe and tails are perfect again. He refuses to wear accessories, as he believes he's perfect already, and can't see the point of even practical wearables. He tried to eat Zooka as an egg, which is why Zooka joined their band, as Syrren protected him (albeit indirectly). Nye can't stand Zooka and tries to flame him as often as possible. He does respect Zooka a little more since he gained the ability to summon storms at will, though, and no longer taunts him quite so openly. He also has a grudge against the Merchants, especially the leaders, that has led to many run-ins with them.

Zooka
Joining SyN under some unfortunate circumstances (Nye trying to eat his egg, for instance), Zooka was a shy little Cottonee. He is very attached to Syrren. Zooka seems to have an unusual love for sharp objects, perhaps a reason for being so close to Syrren (and her slasher). Zooka's dislike for Nye is well-based, however, with Nye loving to try and set him alight, and of course trying to eat him as an unhatched egg. Since evolving into a Whimsicott, his personality became much more confident and also somewhat unhinged. His rough childhood probably contributed to this insanity. Zooka and Nye can't stand each other, but Zooka stays with Syrren out of a strong loyalty, and is her apprentice to theivery, to which his skills and speed make him adept at with little effort. He can modify air currents at will using Tailwind to fly and move incredibly fast, and uses his Razor Leaf like a shruikens. He's somewhat a ninja theif!
